Last week Brussels created a sun-splashed Mexican themed carpet of over half a million flowers of many variety on its historic Grand-Place, in central Brussels.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage site on last week opened up the cobblestones of its market square for a massive display of flowers depicting scenes and symbols from Guanajuato, a Mexican region with a rich culture and flower tradition.
Brussels puts down the flower carpet every two years but this year the heat from the summer created obstacles for the artists.
