Plant Groupings

Plants are great to have in the home or office for so many reasons, but especially during these cold Boston winters, they add a much needed pop of color! Plant groupings are a great way to fill out a corner and have a variety of textures, colors, and shapes! Essentially, for an effective grouping, you need house plants that have coordinating pots and varying heights. 

It's best to start with something tall, then have a medium, and small plant - odd numbers are best. Depending on the size of the space you are working with, you could have multiple plants on the same height, or even a mini-grouping at the base. We just re-did our counter with a plant grouping, shown below as an example!

Here, we used a large snake plant, a medium alocasia (left) and calathea (right), and filled out the center with two beautiful lady slipper orchids. All of these plants have similar, dark green tones, and paired with gray pots, creates a classic and full display.

Weekly Specials

Who doesn't love fresh flowers in their home all the time? We do our best to make sure that your home or office is filled with beautiful, colorful designs. Each week, our designers make up a weekly special using fresh, seasonal blooms, in both wrapped bouquets and small jars. These floral arrangements are perfect for your bedside table, kitchen counter, or bathroom - just a weekly "treat yourself"! 

Looking for a gift for someone, or a special occasion? Our designers have beautiful and fresh table arrangements and wrapped bouquets for the perfect birthday, anniversary, or "just because" floral arrangements, all ready to go. Succulents

Succulents are extremely popular, and for good reason! They require very little care - just a touch of water on their moss every 2 weeks, and as much sunlight as possible! We have a wide variety of shapes, colors and sizes, perfect for terrarium making or just on their own.

Holiday Hours

Our Boston shop will be closed Saturday, December 31st through Monday, January 2nd. We will be reopening with regular hours and deliveries on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 for all of your floral and plant needs! 

Winter Displays

One of the best parts of our day is getting to create beautiful, eye catching window displays. Over the holidays, our window was filled with poinsettias, Christmas trees, and stunning bright red amaryllis. As we approach the new year, we re-vamped our window with some great winter elements, and it turned out to be one of our favorites!

Have you seen our latest window display? The drifts of pinecones and tall branchy birch makes it feel like a wintery wonderland!

Greens & Whites

Now that Christmas is over and the holiday season is coming to a close, we are focusing on fresh, seasonal arrangements. Our favorite color scheme for this time of year is green and white - wintery evergreens like cedar really fill up arrangements with a bold color and amazing scent! Eucalyptus, a year-round favorite, is also fantastic in arrangements and hand-tied bouquets because of its silvery color and interesting texture. Below are some of our favorite combinations for this time of year!
